“Heart has just one door, But then once you enter in, many doors open”

A new Haiku every day
“Heart has just one door, But then once you enter in, many doors open”

“Sluggish night drips on/ the moon starving to a thread/ infinite seconds.”

This haiku would be titled ‘Exodus dream, interrupted’ : when you have a very liberating dream and you feel empowered and alive, then the alarm rings and it is all over.
“Moments from Cairo/the deep blue red sea awaits/the dawn ruins it.”

“To bucolic greens /from canyoned and shadowlands/Your Grace beckons me.”
Inspired by NYC, Bucolic greens is Central Park and Canyoned Shadowlands the skyscrapers. Shadowlands is also a nod to C.S. Lewis

Had a horrible bout of insomnia last night but at least I got a haiku out of it. It’s about the next day that you have to endure when all you really want to do is go back to bed
” The interregnum acrid soul chewing daylight. Waiting for queen Maub.”

‘She wore her sunlight/ and stars danced with every step/Love bowed before her.”

“A broken flower/ She, who stood before me, bends/kissing sable earth.”

“I miss seeing you/but i know you still see me/through heaven’s window”

“Feather in my palm/ I gently exhale, you dance/ ‘Pas de deux’ with God “

“In case I got lost, You said you’d leave out a star, A heart-shaped nightlight”.
